A Taste of Africa at Capital AfroFest 2023

Join us September 2nd for a food tasting featuring some incredible entrepreneurs bringing African cuisine and culture to the Lansing area.

WHAT: Capital Afro Fest, Food Tasting Event
WHERE: 200 Block, S. Washington Square, Lansing, MI
WHEN: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (while supplies last)
COST: The street fair is FREE! Tickets are required for the evening events.

We are excited to sponsor “A Taste of Africa” during this year’s Capital Afro Fest. If you’re in the Lansing-area, stop by to enjoy some music, pick up some food, and meet the entrepreneurs behind Tatse, Altu’s Ethiopian Cuisine, and Thwria’s Kitchen. The street fair from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. is free and no tickets are required. Look for Michigan Good Food Fund’s table starting at 10 a.m. (while supplies last).
