In 2025, Michigan Good Food Fund helped food and farm entrepreneurs create jobs, strengthen their businesses, expand access to healthy food, and build more resilient local food systems through flexible financing and tailored business assistance. As we worked toward a more resilient and inclusive food economy, we prioritized entrepreneurs who have historically faced barriers to capital: two-thirds of supported businesses were woman-owned, 75% were BIPOC-owned, and 35% were located in low-income or low-access communities.
