FoodBiz Growth Lab is an exclusive 10-week cohort-based program designed to support growth-stage product and retail food entrepreneurs across Detroit. This initiative equips food businesses with the tools, mentorship, and strategic guidance needed to scale sustainably. The program runs Mondays, July 28 – October 6, from 6:00 – 8:30 pm at BUILD Institute in Detroit. Learn more and apply. Deadline to apply is June 30, 2025
To be eligible for this program, applicants must:
- Be a food product or food retail business located in Detroit
- Be operational for at least 3 years
- Generate at least $100,000 in yearly revenue
- Complete the application in full by June 30, 2025
Applicants may be asked to meet with the Michigan Good Food Fund team to determine fit/eligibility.
