Morat’s Bakery is a family-owned bakery and restaurant serving up affordable and healthy food options in downtown Muskegon. Its menu features generations-old family recipes many featuring locally-sourced ingredients. Michigan Good Food Fund provided financing through Northern Initiatives in 2018. With this investment, Morat’s Bakery was able to refinance its loans, gain access to working capital, and purchase new equipment.
