Poppie’s Restaurant is a new bakery & restaurant opening in 2019 in Detroit, that will focus on Polish foods. As a sister restaurant to Detroit’s Rose’s Fine Foods, Owner Molly Mitchell plans to focus on serving dishes prepared with locally sourced and seasonal ingredients at Poppie’s. Michigan Good Food Fund provided financing in 2019 through Detroit Development Fund supporting Poppie’s in opening a new restaurant in the West Village neighborhood of Detroit.
