Would your business benefit from nutrition labeling, product information or market studies?
Michigan Good Food Fund is excited to announce Business Assistance Awards to support enterprises helping grow Michigan’s good food future.
Five businesses will receive $1,000 each toward targeted support from the MSU Product Center. If your business would benefit from nutrition labeling, product formulation, or market studies, this award is for you.
Applications can be submitted online and are due by December 31.
Any Michigan-based enterprise working to increase healthy food access is invited to apply. This includes the range of businesses that grow, process, distribute, and sell healthy food that reaches low-income and underserved areas. Preference will be given to enterprises which are also advancing racial and social equity, job creation, local sourcing, or environmental stewardship.
This award can be applied toward designated support from the MSU Product Center, which helps entrepreneurs develop and commercialize high-value products and businesses in the food and ag sectors. Learn more about MSU Product Center services. Awards must be used in 2019.
Applications are due December 31 with awardees to be announced early 2019.
